On December 26, 2008, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the United Mexican States Oleksiy V. Branashko was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Guatemala, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Costa Rica and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine.

On September 28, 2010, in Panama, Oleksiy Branashko presented his credentials to the President of Panama Ricardo Martinelli.

On January 22, 2014, Ruslan Mykolayovych Spirin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the United Mexican States, was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Panama.

On November 11, 2020, the Auxiliary Registrar Office of Panama Maritime Authority has been officially opened in Ukraine, Odessa. According to RESOLUTION ADM No. 162-11-2020 of November 11, 2020, Evgeniy Sukachev was appointed by AMP as Auxiliary Registrar.
