For shipowners and shipbuilders who intend to register their vessels under the Panamanian flag, there is an opportunity to do so directly through the Registration Office of the Panama Maritime Authority in Ukraine.

To register a vessel under the flag of Panama, the legal representative in Panama appointed by the Shipowner must obtain both a Certificate of Permanent Registration (valid for 4 years) and a Permanent Radio License (valid for 4 years), provided that all necessary documentation is submitted in accordance.

• Power of Attorney for Local Agent in Panama
• Copy of the Tonnage Certificate
• ISM Ship’s Certificate
• Certificate of Deletion of the vessel from the Register of the Previous Flag

All forms and copies of documents for registration are provided in electronic form after which the necessary originals for permanent registration are provided within the agreed time period.

Permanent registration can be issued at any time during the period of provisional registration after submitting the necessary documents in the original and making payments.
