The Panama Maritime Authority (PMA) has begun canceling six Panamanian-flagged vessels listed on the UK’s Consolidated List of Financial Sanctions Targets. Acting under Executive Decree 512, the PMA aims to protect the integrity of Panama’s ship registry by revoking navigation licenses and invalidating related documentation. This swift action highlights Panama’s commitment to maintaining its flag’s prestige and compliance with international sanctions.
