Panama has set a new record in newbuilding ship registration, with 358 newly built ships registered, totaling over 8.5 million GT. This achievement reaffirms the country’s leadership in global ship registration and the popularity of its registry among shipowners modernizing their fleets. Thanks to economic incentives, advanced technologies, and global support, Panama manages 15% of the world fleet and continues to develop its maritime sector by implementing eco-friendly initiatives and enhancing its services.
