Panama Maritime Authority have the honor to address Your Excellencies to inform you that, as of December 2, 2024, all license applications for junior national personnel from Indonesia must include the Prior Documentary Evaluation Certificate (PDE, by its acronym in English), in accordance with the regulations governing the Prior Documentary Evaluation (PDE) service established by the Panama Maritime Authority, as communicated in Circular No. DGGM-052.

We appreciate that this information be made known to the interested parties so they can take the necessary measures, as the Prior Documentary Evaluation Certificate (PDE, by its acronym in English) is part of the established requirements for obtaining a Seaman’s Book at the junior personnel level.
